About

 My compositions bring to reality a language derived from a conceptual background of Persian poetry and Medicine. As a Radiologist deeply mesmerized by the images of human body and also influenced by the romance of famous Persian poet, Rumi, my work actively combines my cultural background and Radiology as my career. Dynamism of Persian calligraphy combined with infinite meaning of the circular forms create a unique dance between the abstract and the concrete. Painting is a visual counterpart of dancing; a symphony of rhythms and forms. Influenced by “Life’s unanswered questions”, a poem by Rumi, I challenge the viewer to answer the following questions through my paintings: “what am I doing here? Where have I come from? What’s the reason of being here? Where do I go from here?”.....
